AlMasria Universal offers its customers the simplest means of travel at the best fares. AlMasria is a privately owned Egyptian airline founded in 2007. It launched its operations in 2009, in the midst of the global financial crises, to take advantage of the low prices in the airline industry. Besides offering charter and weekly scheduled flights, the company also operates as a cargo carrier. Ground services are provided by EgyptAir, and Lufthansa’s LSG Sky Chefs provide the inflight catering services.

Passengers are permitted one piece of checked baggage, with a maximum weight of 20 kg.

Carry-on Baggage:

In addition to checked baggage, passengers can also bring on board one piece of carry-on luggage. Its size may not exceed 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm, and its maximum weight must be no more than 5 kg.

Passengers are to check in 45 minutes prior to departure for a domestic flight, and 2 hours prior for international flights.

Inflight Services

In an effort to keep their customers satisfied, the airline plans to provide a full on-board service. Cairo-originating services will feature aircraft with two cabins,configured with 164 seats. Passengers can expect a range of entertainment options on board from exciting programmes to music and reading materials.

Fleet

The AlMasria Universal fleet is made up of the Airbus A320-200 series aircraft that can each carry up to 150 passengers, and two Airbus A321 series aircraft that carry up to 188 passengers. The company has plans to double their fleet size in the coming years.
