Aerolineas Argentinas is the largest airline in Argentina and also the country’s flag carrier. It became established in 1950, and it is one of the older airlines around the globe. They are known for their aviation excellence, modern fleet and excellent time keeping across South America.

Aerolineas Argentinas makes use of both the weight and the piece concept for checked baggage, depending on which route you’re flying.

Weight concept

Domestic – Passengers flying domestic routes are allowed to check baggage of up to 15kg when flying Economy and 30kg in Club Economy.

Regional/International - On most routes passengers are allowed to check baggage of up to 20kg when flying Economy and 30kg in Club Economy.

Between Argentina and Colombia, as well as other South American countries and Europe, passengers are allowed to check baggage of up to 32kg when flying Economy and 40kg when flying Club Condor.

Piece concept

Aerolineas Argentinas’ baggage restrictions are according to the weight concept and differ greatly from route to route. However, passengers can typically expect a limit of 2 pieces of 23kg each in Economy and 3 pieces of 32kg each in Club Condor. Do check the baggage specifications for your route before flying.

In the case of international and regional flights, passengers will have to check in at the airport counter. However, domestic routes do allow passengers to check in via the Aerolineas Argentinas online check-in portal, and mobile app too.

For airport check in, passengers are advised to arrive at least two hours before the scheduled departure of their flight.

Online and mobile check-in opens 24 hours and closes 2 hours before the scheduled departure time of your flight.

International flights include hot and cold meals with a range of beverages, shared TV screens that drop down from the ceiling and blankets on request.

• Club Condor Business
