Arik Air has a variety of different check-in baggage options for different classes, regions and destinations.

However, you will be safe to assume that the general free checked baggage limit for Economy travellers is 23kg per piece for two pieces, and the general free checked baggage limit for Business and First class is 32kg per piece for two pieces.

Parents travelling with infants are allowed to check in one collapsible stroller and one car seat per ticketed passenger.

Airport check in

Arik Air check-in counters open 2 hours before departure for Domestic flights, 3 hours for Regional and 4 hours for International flights and passengers are advised to be there as early as possible to avoid long queues.

All passengers must have completed check-in for their Arik Air flight prior to check-in closure which is 30 minutes (domestic flights), 45 minutes (Regional Flights) and 90 minutes (international flights) before the scheduled departure time. Prompt closure of check-in at all airports is to ensure their flights depart on time. Please allow ample time for check-in completion.

For those who want to skip the queues and streamline their travels, online check-in is available on selected Arik Air flights. Online check-in opens 24 hours before the scheduled departure time and closes 5 hours before on international and 3 hours before on regional and domestic flights.

All passengers, including infants and children, need to present their identification documents as well as their passports should they be travelling abroad.
